The movie, Malcolm X, directed by Spike Lee does a beautiful job of capturing the evolution of his views on race and racism in the United States. Not only does this movie do a great job of marking various important events in Malcolm X’s life and how they shaped who he is, it also does a great job showing his changes from assimilationist to Black Power leader to anti-racist with his clothing and hairstyles. This movie will make the viewer appreciate Malcolm X’s story by letting them understand and know more about him!
