The Curse of the Black Pearl
The first of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies is a fun action movie full of twists and turns. When the young daughter of the Governor, Elizabeth Swann, finds a pirate treasurer on a washed up boy, she is set on the path to a life totally unexpected of someone like her. It takes a while for the ball to start rolling but once the pirate Captain Jack Sparrow arrives in town, the incline only gets steeper. When Elizabeth is stolen, Will Turner, the washed up boy himself, joins forces with Sparrow to save her from a different set of pirates, but these ones have only one goal in mind and they are hiding a creepy, creepy secret. The Curse of the Black Pearl is an adventure that will keep you on the edge of your seat!
Dead Man’s Chest
The second installment in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies begins when Elizabeth and Will’s wedding is paused, and the two are sent to jail for helping the pirate Captain Jack Sparrow escape death. Meanwhile, Jack Sparrow has been made aware of Davy Jones and his crew aboard The Flying Dutchman, and hopes to strike a deal with him. When Will turns to Sparrow, yet again for help, the characters are all whirled into a new and fantastical journey. This movie is just as amazing as the first, keeping the viewer on the edge of their seat, even after it is over!
At World’s End
Captain Jack Sparrow has died, but everyone needs something from him, so the characters of the previous Pirates of the Caribbean movies set off on a journey to the end of the world to bring him back. But the Captain’s death isn’t the only problem everyone is facing. The crew also faces an angry British lord, an even angrier sea monster and more. The plot continues to twist even after Sparrow is saved and one can only guess who will become the next prisoner of which pirate and who will have to do what to save the others. Watch At World’s End to see how Sparrow, Elizabeth and Will’s story turns out!
On Stranger Tides
On Stranger Tides, the fourth installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean series happens a while after the others in the series, and even though the characters have changed and new ones have been introduced, this movie is just as awesome as the others. This character introduces Captain Jack Sparrow’s friend…love?..acquaintance, Angelica, her father, the infamous Edward Teach, or as some know him, Captain Blackbeard, an adventure with mermaids and a religious man. This film is wonderfully woven together!
Dead Men Tell No Tales
The most recent installment of Pirates of the Caribbean tells the tale of Elizabeth and Will’s son, Henry, a scientist, who is definitely NOT a witch and a journey to find something, end a curse and more. The story begins with the variety of characters escaping jail, British soldiers and other unpleasant circumstances. Of course, things don’t end here! Once the main characters are free they embark on a trip meeting new and old faces, alike, as they race against a variety of competitors from undead pirates to the English to reach Poseidon’s Trident before the others.
