Meg Murry is a clumsy girl with a lot of despair in her heart. Her father disappeared and won’t return their letters and she is teased and bullied at school about her little brother, Charles Wallace. But one stormy night, a peculiar and mysterious Mrs. Whatsit appears through Mrs. Murry’s laboratory with a warning.
