Dune is an AMAZING film. For those who have read the book, it is a great bringing to life of the story, scenes and characters. For those who haven’t read the book, the cinematography, clothing and music are beautiful, not to mention the wonderful actors that are in the film. The storyline is like a coming-of-age plot, but twisted into a different time and place. Paul’s family is instructed to go to one of the most dangerous planets in the universe to mine “Spice,” but there’s more to it than just that. A background plot adds to the interest of the story and makes this not only a beautiful film to watch, but also a story that keeps you on the edge of your seat.
